Description

The Community and Operations Department is responsible for the maintenance of housing, landscaping, company vehicles and community projects within Taykwa Tagamou Nation, as well as some off-reserve projects.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

The Community and Operations Department has completed the construction of four new homes, the Taykwa Tagamou Nation Park, is implementing new software for on-reserve housing, and has begun the construction of the baseball field as well as the renovations at Wade Lake. Additionally, the Department has plans for the Youth Centre.

The Community and Operations Department has grown over the past two years with training and experience in areas such as: Carpentry, project management, ASAP Software, and overall efficiency.
